From 1761 he worked for more than forty years as Kapellmeister at the Esterházy court.
Today we met him , inter alia, in the Haydn Church ( Mountain Church ) , in Haydn 's mausoleum, and in the Baroque Haydn House and especially at the International Haydn Festival in September with the world's best Haydn interpreters .
