E.ON, einer der Weltmarktführer im Betrieb von sicheren Kernkraftwerken, betreibt momentan neun Reaktorblöcke an sechs Standorten weltweit und besitzt Minderheitenanteile an weiteren zwölf Blöcken in Deutschland und Schweden.
Diese haben eine Gesamtkapazität von 11 GW und eine durchschnittliche Stromproduktion von 80 TWh.
