In Lima, in der Schule „Colegio Mayor Secundario Presidente del Perú“, wurden Wasserzähler, Energieverbrauchsmesser und eine Solartherme installiert sowie Bäume gepflanzt.

Die GIZ fördert die Kooperation der Gemeinden mit höheren Regierungsebenen, zum Beispiel mit Regionalentwicklungsagenturen und Ministerien.
