Die Allianz wird über zwei gemeinsame Komitees organisiert, die jeweils paritätisch mit DKFZ- und BHC-Vertretern besetzt sind.
Diese beiden Gremien entscheiden über die Auswahl, die finanzielle Ausstattung und die Dauer der Projekte.
Da alle Entscheidungen gemeinsam getroffen werden, ist sichergestellt, dass nur solche Projekte realisiert werden, die sowohl wissenschaftliche Fragestellungen enthalten, als auch parmazeutisches Entwicklungspotenzial in sich tragen, und die damit von beiderseitigem Interesse sind.

Joint decision making ensures that only those projects are funded that include scientific questions and promises for pharmaceutical development, and as such are interesting to follow-up for both sides.
