From 14-30 October 2011, Lovran will again host the annual Marunada Festival – three weekends during which chestnut fans have a chance to re-discover this delicacy in a variety of different forms.
As a soup or cake, ice cream, frappé or more, the Istrian coast is famous for its fantastic chestnut dishes.
The popular Marunada has been held every year for nearly four decades, a regional tradition since 1973.
