Der entsetzte König eilt in den Wald und findet dort sein echtes Dorchen – lebendig und gesund.

As the wheel turns ( symbolised by a motif in the flute which is repeated three times ), it sings a song telling of the outrageous deed.
The horrified king rushes to the forest and finds the real Dornicka there, alive and well.
