Die von Steven Spielberg gegründete Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation hat mit ca. 150 Überlebenden von „ Schindlers Liste “ ausführliche Videointerviews aufgezeichnet.
Diese Interviews, die als historische Dokumente ebenso bedeutsam sind wie als Grundlage für eine künftige pädagogische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Holocaust, sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil des neuen Lernzentrums.
Seit der Eröffnung der Gedenkstätte am Börneplatz 1996 hat das Jüdische Museum Frankfurt in einem für Deutschland einzigartigen Projekt die Lebensläufe von über 12.000 deportierten und ermordeten Frankfurter Juden recherchiert.
