Hi Karin,

passt

Treu und Glauben / bona fide

in Deinen Text?

Generell möchte ich sagen, dass Rechtstexte nur von Fachleuten übersetzt werden sollten. In einem Forum wie diesem sind die Übersetzungen (zwangsläufig?) ungenau und die Verantwortung für Fehlübersetzungen kann hier keiner übernehmen.

Hi Karin,

does "in guter Absicht" fit in your context?
the phrase best efforts expresses something even beyond mere good faith efforts and the translation for this would be "in bester Absicht" / "mit größtem Bemühen"

but as my previous writer already mentioned, legal texts should better be translated by people, who have a more detailled insight in the consequences connected with certain phrases and formulations

regards, Lena

I also think that "in bester Absicht" / "mit größtem Bemühen" is a good translation
