Is there a German word for superluminal (faster than light) or should I just use 'schneller als Licht'?

Thanks in advance,

Hi DrDrDrMr,

yes, normally we use : schneller als (das) Licht

Depending on context one could also say: mit Überlichtgeschwindigkeit

superluminal velocity [phys.] = die Überlichtgeschwindigkeit
