Gelegen an der Sunshine Coast, Süd-Ost Queensland, Australien, Herr Roberts begann das Studium Klavier und Akkordeon für sechs Jahre, dann im Jahr 1970 begann das Studium der klassischen Gitarre die Kombination mit einer beruflichen Karriere in der Informationstechnologie.
