On October 22, 2011 donors, sponsors and representatives of government attended a special gala preview night at TELUS Spark - The New Science Centre, Calgary s newest attraction.

Mit dieser Veranstaltung wurde das vormals als " TELUS World of Science " bekannte Center umbenannt in " TELUS Spark, " um seiner neuen Größe und seinem breiteren Ausstellungsspektrum als Calgarys Zentrum der Inspiration, Innovation und Forschung Rechnung zu tragen.

As of that date, the facility switched from being known as the " TELUS World of Science " to " TELUS Spark, " to reflect the larger facility s new and wider mandate to be a centre of inspiration, explo- ration and innovation for Calgary.
