Die Strukturierung der Substrate erfolgt durch Elektronenstrahllithografie in eine PMMA-Schicht ( Polymethylmethacrylat ) mit Schichtdicken zwischen 100nm und 300nm.
Als Elektronenstrahlschreiber dient ein JEOL JSM-6400 Rasterelektronenmikroskop mit einem ELPHY Quantum System der Raith GmbH.
