Im Mai / Juni wird der Aspekt bestimmt durch große Bestände des Breitblättrigen Knabenkrauts ( Dactylorhiza majalis ) und des Fieberklees ( Menyanthes trifoliata ).
Ab und zu muss Schilf ( Phragmites australis ), das immer wieder in den Biotop eindringt, beseitigt werden, um die bunte Vielfalt dieser Pflanzengemeinschaft zu erhalten.
