Die Kolumbianerin überholte auf der letzten Geraden Alise Post und sicherte sich im Olympischen Trainingszentrum der USA im kalifornischen Chula Vista den Sieg bei diesem Event und damit gleichzeitig den World-Cup-Sieg.
Pajon hatte im Juni auch den World Cup Event in Papendal gewonnen und beendete die Saison mit einer Gesamtpunktzahl von 775 deutlich vor ihrer Konkurrentin Arielle Martin aus den USA mit 688 Punkten.
