Für die bevorstehenden Winterfahrten 2002 erfolgte der Einbau einer neuen Warmwasser- Umlaufheizung und der Neuanstrich des Raucherabteils mit Bierlasur.
Im Winter 2005 erhielt das Nichtraucherabteil wieder die ursprüngliche Einrichtung mit Holzbänken und halbhohen Abteiltrennwänden.
Weitere Restaurierungsarbeiten werden dann den Abortraum, Ergänzungen im Ofenraum und den Wasserkastenaufsatz auf dem Dach umfassen.

For Summer 2004 the non-smoking compartment is to get its original wooden seats and half-height compartment dividing walls.
Further restoration work will continue with the toilet and the fitting of the water tank on the roof.
