Vielleicht wird sich dann auch die offizielle Bezeichnung von “3. Staffel” ändern, allerdings werden wir dennoch an unserem Namen “Tigerstaffel” festhalten, denn es gilt :
“Once a tiger, always a tiger!”

Die Unterstützungseinheit besteht aus drei Staffeln, die für die Wartung und Versorgung verantwortlich sind.
Seit 1999 verfügt das GAFFTC auf der Holloman AFB auch über einen so genannten " Tornado Full Mission Simulator ", der von der Firma CAE gebaut und gewartet wird.

Aber nachdem Tiger ja von natur aus neugierig und interessiert sind und außerdem gerne neue Wege beschreiten, haben wir die einmalige Gelegenheit beim Schopf gepackt.

But as tigers are curious and interested by nature and besides are eager to explore new terrain, we seized the unique opportunity with both hands.

Zu unserer großen Freude folgten nicht nur sehr viele aktive Tiger dem Aufruf, sondern auch ehemalige Piloten der Staffel.

On the 11th of Jannuary in 2007 a lot of active and former pilots of our squadron came to Hörsching to take part.
