Dieses Ausbildungszentrum für nachhaltige Landwirtschaft in Assosa war 2009 von « BioEconomy Africa » mit Unterstützung von Biovision aufgebaut worden.
Bis im Sommer 2012 wurden dort bereits 550 Bäuerinnen und Bauern in den Methoden des nachhaltigen Pflanzenbaus, in Fragen der Viehhaltung und der menschlichen Gesundheit sowie im Umgang mit biologischen Fallen für Tsetsefliegen ausgebildet.
Mit diesen Farben- und Duftfallen können die Insektenpopulationen und damit die Verbreitung der Nagana umweltfreundlich kontrolliert werden.
