Verbreitung der gesetzlichen Zeit
Durch das Zeitgesetz der Bundesrepublik Deutschland aus dem Jahr 1978 ist die Mitteleuropäische Zeit MEZ oder die Mitteleuropäische Sommerzeit MESZ als gesetzliche Zeit für unser Land festgelegt und die PTB mit ihrer Darstellung und Verbreitung beauftragt .

By the Time Act of the Federal Republic of Germany of 1978, the Central European Time ( CET ) or the Central European Summer Time ( CEST ) has been defined as legal time for our country and its realization and dissemination have been assigned to PTB.
For this purpose, PTB offers three different services:

Nach etwa zwei Monaten Vorbereitungen im nordschwedischen Kiruna ist das ballongetragene Sonnenobservatorium Sunrise am heutigen Mittwoch um 7.37 Uhr Mitteleuropäischer Sommerzeit ( MESZ ) gestartet .
Das Team hatte seit Tagen auf günstige Witterung gewartet, ein erster Startversuch am 6. Juni musste abgebrochen werden.

After approximately two months of preparations in Kiruna in the north of Sweden, the balloon-borne solar observatory Sunrise has lifted off successfully today at 7.37 a.m. CEST.
For one week the team has been waiting for favorable weather conditions.

A special passenger was on board during the launch of ESA s fourth Automated Transfer Vehicle ( ATV ), ' Albert Einstein ', on 5 June 2013 at 23:52 CEST – the STEREX experiment, funded by the DLR Space Administration and the European Space Agency ( ESA ).
