In the long term, the Worker’sPAS is to become established as an alternative to formal vocational education and training.

Junge Berufstätige, die sich für das Programm bewerben, sollten nach dem 31. Juli 1990 geboren sein, über einige Jahre Unterricht in der englischen Sprache sowie eine bei der Ausreise abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung verfügen.

www.giz.deSeit den 1990er-Jahren realisiert die GIZ dort Projekte im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung ( BMZ ).
Die Schwerpunkte lagen zunächst auf Berufsausbildung an Verwaltungsschulen, nachhaltiger Wirtschaftsentwicklung, integrierter Stadtentwicklung, Landwirtschaft und der Unterstützung sozialer Einrichtungen.
Die GIZ hat Rumänien anschließend auf seinem Weg in die Europäische Union intensiv begleitet.

These initially focused on the provision of vocational training at schools of public administration and on sustainable economic development, integrated urban development, agriculture, and capacity building for social institutions.
GIZ then provided intensive support for Romania’s progression towards membership of the European Union.
