Beginnend mit der sog.E-Klausel über die F-, C- bis hin zu den D-Klauseln nehmen die Pflichten des Verkäufers zu und jene des Käufers ab und spiegelbildlich verhält es sich mit den Rechten.
In den INCOTERMS 2010 werden die Klauseln neu in zwei Kategorien eingeteilt.
