www.europarl.europa.euIt is considered to be the most important since the agreement signed with the European Union in 1972, and indeed is the first FTA Japan has signed with a European country.
The Free Trade Agreement of 2009 established a subcommittee for the promotion of economic cooperation .
Switzerland and Japan meet every 18 months for financial dialogue and to coordinate policy on financial matters.
www.eda.admin.chEs wird als das wichtigste seit jenem von 1972 mit der Europäischen Gemeinschaft eingeschätzt und ist gleichzeitig das erste Freihandelsabkommen Japans mit einem europäischen Land.
Im Bereich der Wirtschaft und Finanzen begründete das Freihandelsabkommen von 2009 einen Unterausschuss zur Förderung der wirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit.
Die Schweiz und Japan unterhalten alle 18 Monate einen Finanzdialog zur Koordination finanzpolitischer Standpunkte.
