Aus rechtlicher Perspektive bedeutet Adoleszenz eine Zunahme von Teilmündigkeiten, das heißt Strafmündigkeit mit 14 Jahren, Ehemündigkeit auf Antrag mit 16 Jahren, Volljährigkeit mit 18 Jahren, Ende der Anwendbarkeit von Jugendstrafrecht mit 21 Jahren.
