Bereits seit 2003 arbeitet das Eisenbahn-Bundesamt ( EBA ) höchst erfolgreich mit der Fabasoft eGov-Suite im Wirkbetrieb .
Mit der Umsetzung der Vorgangsbearbeitung entwickelte das EBA zugleich eine Referenzlösung für andere Behörden im nachgeordneten Bereich des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Bau und Stadtentwicklung ( BMVBS ).

Employees of the Federal Railway Authority ( EBA ) have been working very successfully with Fabasoft eGov-Suite since 2003.
With the implementation of the task and plan processing, the EBA developed a reference solution for other authorities in the subordinated divisions of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs ( BMVBS ).

Zum 01.04.2008 wurden die Normen DIN EN 15085-1 bis -5 durch die Nationale Sicherheitsbehörde Deutschlands , das Eisenbahn-Bundesamt ( EBA ) als anerkannte Regeln der Technik für den Zuständigkeitsbereich des EBA eingeführt .
Betriebe, die Schweißarbeiten in der Neufertigung, einschließlich des Fertigungsschweißens, oder in der Instandhaltung ausführen wollen, müssen ihre Eignung nach DIN EN 15085 Teil 2 nachgewiesen haben.

As from 01.04.2008 the standards DIN EN 15085-1 to -5 were introduced by the German Railway Authorities (EBA) as acknowledged technical rules within the responsibility of the EBA.
Shops intending to carry out welding work in new construction including production welding or repair must have proven their suitability according to DIN EN 15085 part 2.
