Jahresgebühren für Europäische Patente mit einheitlicher Wirkung sind an die Europäische Patentorganisation zu entrichten .
Wird eine Jahresgebühr nicht fristgerecht gezahlt, erlischt das Europäische Patent mit einheitlicher Wirkung.

01.04.2014 - Wegfall von Fristen für Europäische Teilanmeldungen Am 16.10.2013 hat der Verwaltungsrat der Europäischen Patentorganisation vernünftigerweise beschlossen , die erst 2009 eingeführten besonderen Fristen für die Einreichung einer Europäischen Teilanmeldung wieder abzuschaffen .
Mit Wirkung zum 01.04.2014 gilt demnach wieder die bewährte Regelung, dass Teilanmeldungen eingereicht werden können, solange die Stammanmeldung anhängig ist.

April 01, 2014 - Elimination of deadlines for European divisional applications On October 16, 2013, the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation has reasonably decided to abolish the special time limits for filing a European divisional application, which have been introduced in 2009.
With effect from April 01, 2014, the proven policy to allow the filing of divisional applications as long as the parent application is pending is thus going to apply again.
