Die Zusammenarbeit der beiden Organisationen ist durch eine strategische Partnerschaft geregelt und die Europäische Kommission unterstützt explizit die Umsetzung der Decent Work Agenda der ILO in der Zusammenarbeit mit Partnerländern.

The European Commission and its development cooperation agency EuropeAid take positions on supporting the informal economy that are broadly in line with those of the ILO.
There is a strategic partnership on cooperation between the two organisations, with the European Commission explicitly supporting implementation of the ILO’s Decent Work Agenda in its cooperation with partner countries.
