Auf Initiative der Teilnehmergemeinschaft der Flurbereinigung, der Stadt Lorch und des Forstamtes Rüdesheim wurde der zugewachsene und verwilderte Kaufmannsweg wieder offen gelegt und durch den Bau einer Fußgängerbrücke zugänglich gemacht.
In Lorch sind die alten Mauern aus Schiefer gesetzt.

A joint initiative initiated by the office of land consolidation, the town of Lorch and the forestry office at Rüdesheim, cleared the overgrown and derelict Kaufmannsweg and provided access to the path by building a footbridge.
