Im Auslandsstatus der Banken werden die bereits in der monatlichen Bilanzstatistik der Banken erfassten Auslandsaktiva und Auslandspassiva weiter nach Ländern , Währungen , Sektoren und Fristigkeiten aufgegliedert .
Dabei wird jeweils ein getrennter Auslandsstatus für den Inlandsteil der Banken sowie für die Auslandsfilialen und Auslandstöchter inländischer Institute erhoben.

In the external position of banks, the banks ’ external assets and liabilities, which are already mentioned in the monthly balance sheet statistics, are grouped by country, currency, sector and maturity.
A separate external position is compiled for the banks ’ domestic operations as well as for domestic institutions ’ foreign branches and foreign subsidiaries.
www.bundesbank.deBanken, die Einlagenkreditinstitute im Sinne der Richtlinie 2006 / 48 / EG über die Aufnahme und Ausübung der Tätigkeit der Kreditinstitute sind, melden monatlich ihre Bilanz, die in weiteren Anlagen nach Sektoren und Ursprungslaufzeiten tiefer untergliedert wird.
Die monatliche Bilanzstatistik ist eine wesentliche Datenbasis für die konsolidierte Bilanz des Sektors der monetären Finanzinstitute in Deutschland und damit für den deutschen Beitrag zu den monetären Aggregaten der Europäischen Währungsunion .
Für eine tiefere Analyse bestimmter Bilanzpositionen werden mit folgenden Erhebungen zusätzliche Erkenntnisse gewonnen:

The sub-account for the Eurosystem is also referred to as the consolidated financial statement of the Eurosystem.Data from the monthly balance sheet statistics of the Deutsche Bundesbank – as a monetary financial institution – are used for Germany’s contribution.
Germany’s contribution to the sub-account of the other MFIs contains the balance sheet statistics reports submitted by credit institutions (including building and loan associations and money market funds).
