Davon stellt das Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung ( BMZ ) 16,4 Millionen Euro für technische Zusammenarbeit und 40,5 Millionen Euro für finanzielle Zusammenarbeit zur Verfügung.
Die technische Zusammenarbeit mit SADC wird durch fünf GIZ Vorhaben im südlichen Afrika umgesetzt .
Die Regierungsverhandlungen fanden am 1. und 2. Juli 2013 in Bonn, Deutschland, statt.
