Die bisherige WAN ( Wide Area Network ) -Vernetzung von insgesamt 91 Standorten, davon 45 im Ausland, lief auf Basis ATM ( Asynchronous Transfer Mode ).
Heute ist dieser Datenverbund mit der derzeit leistungsfähigsten Netztechnologie MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) an das Gebrüder Weiss Rechenzentrum im Telekom Austria Housing Center Bregenz angeschlossen.
Damit steht dem Vorarlberger Transportunternehmen mit Sitz in Lauterach heute ein hoch verfügbares Firmennetz mit “any-to-any”-Struktur zur Verfügung, das firmenintern auch für IP-Telefonie genutzt wird.
