Die Reste der Barockeinrichtung sowie die neugotischen Altäre wurden um 1965 durch den Übereifer des damaligen Pfarrers vernichtet.
Umso mehr beeindrucken den Kirchenbesucher die verbliebenen sakralen Einrichtungsgegenstände.
Allen voran natürlich das Andachtsbild – die Hallgartener Schrötermadonna.
