In allen Kursen werden wichtige übergreifende Themen wie Gender und die Bekämpfung der Verbreitung von HIV / AIDS behandelt.
2011 wurden mehr als 150 Teilnehmende aus sämtlichen 14 amtierenden SADC-Mitgliedsstaaten am Zentrum ausgebildet, wovon ungefähr die Hälfte zivile Fachkräfte und mehr als ein Drittel Frauen waren.
2012 kann mit rund 250 Kursteilnehmerinnen und Kursteilnehmern bereits von einer Auslastung des Zentrums ausgegangen werden.
