We were able to to reduce waste to landfill by expanding compost collection and lab plastic recycling, to save on energy consumption quite significantly by installing new lighting controls (sensors) with dimming ballasts, as well as optimizing chillers, and to reduce our water usage through improvements in irrigation.
And, of course, by making occupants more aware of their own scope of influence in this area.
