Who is behind this
„We” – this is a motley crew of students and alumnis of various faculties, members of IN-Chemnitz e.V. and the CLUG, employees of the data processing centre and the Faculty for Computer Science of TU Chemnitz as well as enthusiastic Hobby Linux users.
Since 1999 we organise the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage with a constantly increasing success.

„Wir” – das ist ein bunt gewürfelter Haufen aus Studenten und Absolventen verschiedener Fakultäten, Mitgliedern des IN-Chemnitz e.V. und der CLUG, Mitarbeitern des Rechenzentrums und der Fakultät für Informatik der TU Chemnitz sowie begeisterten „Hobby-Linuxern”.

Nun, sei es drum, der Besitzer und Manager dieser Dreamboys ist Bary Bacco und der hatte wohl lust auf noch eine bunte Truppe, die ebenso nicht ganz natürlich so ist, wie sie ist.

“We are infamous for our motley program, so we need a system capable of handling rock, folk, funk, rap, classical music… even DJ performances.”
While the two are busy preparing their first complete season, quite a few heavyweights, like Alain Chamfort, Jean Fauque, Francis and Didier Lockwood and Sanseverino as well as promising new acts, such as Le Spark (discovered and mentored by Louis Bertignac) have already performed on the barge.

Momentan basteln die beiden phrenetisch am Programm der ersten Komplettsaison, aber bereits mehrere bekannte Künstler wie Alain Chamfort, Jean Fauque, Francis und Didier Lockwood sowie Sanseverino und talentierte Jung-Bands wie Le Spark (die von Louis Bertignac entdeckt und gefördert wurde) haben bereits auf dem Frachtkahn gespielt.

From Herbert Knaup to Ellen von Unwerth and Alexandra Neldel, a motley audience came together – one of the very reasons this event is so popular.

Von Herbert Knaup über Ellen von Unwerth bis hin zu Alexandra Neldel fand sich ein buntes Publikum ein, das nicht zuletzt für die Beliebtheit dieses Events sorgt.
