Comfort is as important to Mihara as good design, and she constantly strives to find a balance between the two, eradicating any dowdiness in the process.
“A comfy shoe with a sturdy midi heel has a tendency to look like something an old lady would wear, but the frumpy stereotype can be counteracted by adding a humorous edge in the shape of frills or, say, an interesting buckle.
That way, you’ve translated the look into something sweet and fun,” explains Mihara.

Um den Wohlfühlfaktor zu erhöhen hat die Designerin, die in New York wertvolle Orthopädie-Erfahrung sammeln konnte, ein spezielles Fußbett entwickelt – eine gepolsterte Konstruktion, die in alle geschlossen Modelle eingearbeitet wird.
