1982 begründete er mit Grant Gustafson die Rotenburger Gitarrenwochen.
Er unterrichtet an der Hochschule für Künste in Bremen Studenten im Hauptfach Gitarre und darüber hinaus die Fächer Methodik des Gitarrenunterrichts und Relative Solmisation.
Als Solist und Mitglied im " Neuen KammerTrio " konzertiert er in vielen Ländern.
