Während sechs Generationen hätten es ihre Nachkommen zu einer blühenden Gemeinde entwickelt, bis im Oktober 1944 fast alle Einwohner das Dorf in mehreren Trecks verlassen mussten.
Auch an die darauf folgende Geschichte des Dorfes, das als eines der schlimmsten Vernichtungslager eine traurige “ Bekanntheit “ bei den Donauschwaben erlangt hätte, erinnert die Tafel.
