The management measures take place in local populations of at least 10 breeding pairs, or, alternatively, in potentially suitable areas of at least 10-20 sqm.
To assess the success of the management measures, numbers of eggs and fledglings are annually counted, and all young and some adult birds are ringed and measured.
Data from the ringing groups are incorporated into the integrated population monitoring of kestrel and barn owl.

Zwecks Erfolgskontrolle werden jährlich die Anzahl Eier und Jungvögel ermittelt sowie die Jung- und Altvögel teilweise beringt und vermessen.
Die Daten der Beringergruppen fliessen in das Projekt " Integriertes Populationsmonitoring von Turmfalke und Schleiereule " ein.
