After his studies, he was a Research Fellow with Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Schwarze at the University of Freiburg, a Visiting Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law of the University of Cambridge and worked in the area of dispute resolution in the Frankfurt office of a business law firm.
Roland Kläger was also a legal trainee in the legal department of a leading German car manufacturer in Beijing.
He is a member of DIS 40, YIAG, Young ICSID as well as of the German Branch of the International Law Association and speaks German, English and Spanish.
