As a specialist in both, the young American singer Sasha Cooke will present songs from her homeland.
The concert will be conducted by the young Ossetian Tugan Sokhiev, the chief conductor designate of the Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and one of the great talents of the younger generation.
He will be taking up his post at the start of the 2012/2013 season, and his first concert outside of Berlin will be bringing him to Bonn.
