Cycle back on the other side of the plain, passing through Quartino, Cadenazzo, S. Antonino, as far as Giubiasco and then back to Bellinzona, where you can visit the old town and have a look at the castles which were declared part of our national heritage by Unesco in 2000.
Bicycles are available for hire at the stations of Locarno and Bellinzona, or else from the rural tourist centre of ' Alle Voliere ' in Gudo.
