Aeromechanics
In the field of aeromechanics we are working on fluid-structure-interaction, which might cause self-exicted or externally excited vibrations.
This area of research is highly interdisciplinary, as it combines different subject areas, especially structural dynamics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics and material science.

Im Forschungsgebiet Aeromechanik befassen wir uns mit der Wechselwirkung zwischen Struktur und Strömung, die zu fremderregten oder selbsterregten Schwingungen führen kann.
Dieses Forschungsgebiet ist stark interdisziplinär und kombiniert die Gebiete Strukturdynamik, Aerodynamik, Thermodynamik und Werkstoffwissenschaften.

Seminars 4 to 8 encompass course-specific reinforcement modules in flight administration / flight control, flight administration technology, control engineering / flight control, flight drives, aerodynamics / aeromechanics, aeroplane construction, air traffic, one module of choice and human performance limitations.
In he 6th and 7th semesters the practical training after JAR-FCL takes place at one of the partner traffic piloting schools.

Die Semester 4 – 8 umfassen die für den Studiengang spezifischen Vertiefungsmodule Flugbetrieb / Flugführung, Flugbetriebstechnik, Regelungstechnik / Flugregelung, Flugantriebe, Aerodynamik / Flugmechanik, Flugzeugbau, Luftverkehr, ein Wahlmodul und Human Performance Limitations.
Im 6. und 7. Semester findet die praktische Ausbildung nach JAR-FCL an einer der Partner-Verkehrsfliegerschulen statt.
