Diese hat Peru bereits 1994 ratifiziert.
Erst im September 2011 jedoch wurden das Gesetz zum Konsultations- und Informationsrecht indigener Gemeinschaften und im März 2012 die dazugehörigen Durchführungsbestimmungen verabschiedet.
