Empfangsseitig wurde unser PC-gesteuerter Kurzwellenempfänger DRB 32 in Verbindung mit der DRM-Dekodersoftware DREAM eingesetzt.
Für optimale Empfangsbedingungen sollte die interne AGC von DREAM deaktiviert werden ( AGC OFF ), da der DRB 32 bereits eine für Datenempfang optimierte interne AGC besitzt.
Zunächst wird dem DRB 32 eine Leistung von -20dBm direkt eingespeist, um so das System am oberen Ende des zulässigen Pegelbereichs bzw. kurz vor der Sättigungsgrenze zu testen:
