Als Teilnehmer der Demonstration geriet ich in den Polizeikessel und versuchte, aus der Demonstration heraus mit der Videokamera die Geschehnisse aufzunehmen.
Kurze Zeit nach dem 1. Juli entschied ich mich, von meinem Videomaterial ausgehend die Ereignisse rund um die Einkesselung der DemoteilnehmerInnen zum Ausgangspunkt eines Videos zu machen.
Dabei war ich mit der Tatsache konfrontiert, ein Ereignis zu thematisieren, das in seinem Ablauf und in seiner Dramaturgie stark von repressiven Polizeitaktiken und dem willkürlichen Vorgehen von Politikern und Polizisten bestimmt wurde.

At the same time, I was confronted with the fact that I was addressing an event of which the course and dramaturgy were strongly determined by repressive police tactics and the arbitrary actions taken by politicians and police.
