Die E. coli Stämme STEC und EHEC kommen natürlicherweise im Darm von Wiederkäuern wie Rindern, Schafen und Ziegen vor.

The E. coli strains STEC and EHEC occur naturally in the intestine of ruminants such as cattle, sheep and goats.
