Die BLT Wieselburg ist eine akkreditierte Prüfstelle für Umsturzschutzvorrichtungen und eine von der OECD (Organisation für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung) approbierte Prüfstelle.
Im Rahmen der Europäischen Union ist die BLT ein Technischer Dienst „EU-Prüfstelle“ für die EG-Typgenehmigung nach 2003/37/EG die auch ROPS und FOPS von land- oder forstwirtschaftlichen Zugmaschinen (Traktoren) beinhaltet.

The BLT is an accredited test station for roll-over protection systems and approved by the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) as an official test station to carry out tests according to the OECD Standard Codes for tractor.
In accordance with the procedures laid down in EU rules the BLT is a notified technical test station for EC type approvals according to Directive 2003/30/EC including also tests for ROPS and FOPS for agricultural and forestry machines (tractors).
