Von 1995 bis 1998 war er als Postdoktorand am Salk-Institut in La Jolla, Kalifornien, tätig und hatte von 1995 bis 1997 ein Ausbildungsstipendium der DFG inne.
Seit 1998 ist er Assistenzarzt und wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Neurologischen Universitätsklinik Regensburg.
dfg.deAs a fellow of the Cusanus Foundation, he completed his doctorate in 1993 in Freiburg.
From 1995 to 1998 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California, with a DFG training fellowship from 1995 to 1997.
Since 1998 he has been a resident and research associate at the Department of Neurology, University Hospital Regensburg.
