Die Tramlinie wurde über den Zeitraum vom September 2012 bis November 2013 erstellt.
Das Gesamtbudget des Projektes beläuft sich auf rund 13 Millionen Franken, wobei die Stadt Olomouc 2 Millionen Franken beisteuert.
