George Grosz seziert die Welt der Ganoven und Huren, Erich Godal dämonisiert in seinem Zyklus „ Revolution “ die Fabriken, Otto Möller und Heinrich Vogeler zeichnen Volksredner und Menschenmenge, auch der junge Werner Heldt träumt vom Aufstand.
So unterschiedlich die künstlerischen Mittel auch sind, kaum einer kann sich der Stellungnahme entziehen.
