Doch mit seinem Song „S.O.L.A.R.“ (was im Übrigen für „Sound Of Love Around Radios“ steht) entfernt er sich vom melodramatischen Frühwerk und liefert stattdessen eine vorbildliche Elektro-Funk Nummer ab.
